Hello! My name is Robin Hewett Hicken and I am The 19th Hole Restaurant Manager
and Special Events Coordinator. I have been employed with Brunswick Plantation for 19
years and have had the pleasure of working in several different positions. But I can honestly
say that managing the restaurant and planning special events is my passion.
I am a Brunswick County native. Born and raised right behind Brunswick Plantation,
which is where I still live. My family has had the privilege of calling Brunswick County
home for many generations.
After graduating form West Brunswick High School in Shallotte, I continued my education
at Brunswick Community College earning an Associate's Degree in General Education.
Several years later I returned to Gardner-Webb University in Shelby, NC earning a Bachelor's
Degree in Business Administration. I continued my education by earning a diploma in
Hotel/Restaurant Management from Penn Foster University. Recently, I completed a food
safety course and received my SerSafe Certificate.
Brunswick Plantation is a wonderful place to work and I look forward to going to work every day. I especially enjoy
meeting new people and making their wedding dreams come true. My job enables me to face new challenges and be
able to push my abilities to the limit. It is truly my home away from home!
